Göreme Open Air Museum
Overpriced and in my opinion, definitely overrated. It’s also overrun with hordes of tour groups who seem to believe they have right of way and priority over everyone else!
I felt somewhat overwhelmed by the amount of people, or should I say, more so by the amount of ignorant self entitled people with zero regard for other visitors.
Not an enjoyable experience, but perhaps if I had gone when it was quieter I would have enjoyed it more. Having said that, it’s not somewhere I would visit again.
It’s also forbidden to take photographs inside the churches, and there are staff/guards watching and barking at people with phones/cameras in their hands.
