I recently had the opportunity to try rolled ice cream at Artic Bites. While the experience was intriguing, I must admit that the sweetness of the treat left me with mixed feelings, resulting in a solid three-star rating.

The presentation of the rolled ice cream was undoubtedly a visual feast. The delicately rolled layers, artfully arranged in a cup, were a treat for the eyes. Each roll boasted a vibrant color and was topped with an array of enticing toppings, making it difficult to resist digging in.

However, as I took my first bite, I was met with an overwhelming wave of sweetness. The base ice cream itself was sugary to the point where it overpowered the flavors of any mix-ins I had chosen.

The rolled ice cream we tried had a creamy texture that was undeniably pleasing, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by an excessive level of sweetness. While the presentation and the ability to customize the flavors were impressive, the overpowering sweetness hindered my ability to fully enjoy the dessert. In comparison to other rolled ice creams I've had in the past, this one fell short, leaving me with the feeling that I've had better.

Kona coffee is one of my favourite coffees. Just had to come here to taste their peaberry Kona coffee. I’m a huge fan of pour over coffees. Yes it is expensive but if you love coffee you would appreciate it. Starbucks is not even in the same playing field. Starbucks coffee is so over roasted. That’s why you have to put cream and sugar to mask it.

Açai Hawaiian Bowls - brings back memories of Maui. The açai was really good texture. Was not watery and had good consistency. Lots of nuts, honey and fruit and granola. My family really enjoyed it.

Brownie - was kind of hard. So not moist, a bit dry but it was yummy.

Pour over 100% Kona Peaberry - really good cup coffee. Chocolate and honey notes. Pour over method used was Hario V60. Water temp was 205. I’m happy to pay the money for this coffee. I watched the pour over being done and it was well done. I didn’t time the extraction but it tasted good.

I've been here 2 times now. First time I got the chicken and beef. The chicken was dry and the rice was hard like it didn't seem fresh at all. The beef was very well seasoned and was juicy. Meal came with a grilled tomato. It was grilled till it was pretty much black and came with a jalapeño. Overall I didn't enjoy this combo as the chicken was dry and the rice was hard.

Second time I got the beef combo because my sister said it really good. This time it was much better. The rice was hot and had a very nice flavour to it. The beef was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I really enjoyed the skewers. The tomato was better grilled this time. Overall this was a great dish and I would other it again. Cazba redeemed themselves.

I will note the second time it was not as busy as the first time. Reason why I'm giving 3 stars cause Im not sure if they are consistent. My first meal was not that great and my second meal was delicious.
